Captain Vs Captain

Reaper took his time walk about the town taking in the different smells and colours of the world around him,so much has change since the 20's and 30's the changing of the world seemingly perplexed the ever crafty leader. But this day seemed to lead to some other providence lurking deep with in its fabric a hue of foreboding colours invaded the spectrum that reaper looked forward too. The smell of a fight rammed its self in the nose of Reaper as stopped in the thick of the massive crowd he felt the presents of a coming being something of the non human sorts, but until that source of power comes forth he would stand in the thick of it holding his hat as he looked forward.

Kaiyo had enjoyed her day off. An odd occurrence for her in fact, having a day off, long gone where the days when she could spend all her time happily training and working. Instead the eventual time had come, that Kaiyo sometimes just needed a breath of fresh air. The blonde girl skulked through the masses, her bright blue eyes and blonde hair seeming more dull with her less cheerful attitude. Her red headband flicked gently against the back of her neck. Kaiyo was looking up towards the sky, her train of thought dropping back to her feet as she paused. Turning her head to a slightly mysterious looking man wearing a hat. A smirk grew at the corners of her lips, 'Hey' she said, already cheering up. 'So, you busy?'. Kaiyo had just decided, she needed a friendly spar, and this guy was her match.

Looking on as she spoke Reaper only had one way to answer such a greeting, with out a single word or thought other wise Reaper vanished for second and almost instantly appeared in front of her with the tip of his blade pressing neatly against the bottom of her blades handle. The laps of time for any reaction would lead to her griping her handle attempting to draw only to have her hand slip and run along the teeth of his blade leaving her hand useless, Reaper waited to see if her reaction played out to what he thought if not Reaper had something else for her.

Had Kaiyo not been so anxious to fight she likely would have just lost her fingers. The strike was fast, and very precise. While Kaiyo usually would have gone straight for her sword, there was something about this guy that just didn't feel like he'd be greeting her so warmly. It wasn't that Kaiyo had foreseen the attack, or even had time to react, the matter of fact was simply that the blonde girl had at the same time lunged her first towards Reaper's face. Granted the attack wasn't so high on tact or guile, but there was just something about the guys face that made her want to hit it. The girl smirked though, as Reaper's blade swept along the handle of her own. Kaiyo flash stepped backwards a few metres. Smiling at the guy, 'You should learn how to play nice' she grinned, quickly unsheathing her own sword as she waited for Reapers next move.

As Reaper thought she was not the type to fall so easly to a weak attack as was given to her, his hair swayed as he left a living after image her fist would only drift through it as Reaper rounded about her matching her flash step with a greater one, as her came about her back he spoke. "Bakudō #63. Sajo Sabaku." The ropes of this high powered kido would lock her in place so he could send one more attack. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hadō #33 Sōkatsui" The blast would be over whelming if it made contact but is that was not over kill Reaper readied to cleave her with his blade.

The golden chains wrapped tightly around kaiyo, the girl's eyes danced lightly as the chains constricted her movement. An idea struck as Reaper began his second incantion, Kaiyo didn't even bother paying attention to the spell, she already knew it was to kill. 'Bakudo #81. Danku!'. The two forces collided at once, the large barrier surrounded Kaiyo just in time, the rectangular shield of energy absorbed the attack with seeming ease. Kaiyo shut her eyes, deciding this guy wasn't worth taking a chance with, 'Light the sky, Tenrai Zenpyou' she called loudly, her shikai release swirling around her body as the blonde girl broke free from the chains. 'Okay, so you don't talk that much...fine'. Kaiyo squared off her stance, 'Hado #58. Tenran!' she called in as an authoritative manner as she could handle; the swirling tornado mixing with the lightning of her shikai as it blasted towards Reaper.
